HomeListingExchange.com is a For-Sale-By-Owner (FSBO) web listing company to give homeowners more power when selling their home.  Their web technology service, named HELEX, provides a MLS-like service to homeowners in the Seattle, Washington metro area with future short term expansion to large metro areas across the United States.

In the design we looked at a few different applications of the logo and colors, focusing on popular colors for interior design.  By removing elements to make the design more minimalist, we designed the logo to focus on the Exchange value of the technology.  The design is the EX, commonly the abbreviation for Exchange, with the white space showing a home.  The top of the house extends to symbolize the transfer of the home from the owner to the buyer.
